Alternative Health Associates offers an array of complimentary healing modalities using a holistic approach to wellness. These healing techniques will assist you on your path to superior health and well-being, and to greater personal and spiritual evolution. Holistic:

(1) of or relating to a theory that the universe and especially living nature is correctly seen in terms of interacting wholes (as in living organisms) that are more than the mere sum of elementary particles;

(2) emphasizing the organic or functional relation between parts and wholes

Alternative Health Associates offers a holistic approach to healing by seeing all aspects of the ‘self’ – including the body/mind/emotion/spirit systems - as integrated and interrelated. Just as dis-ease in one aspect of the self will negatively impact the other aspects, so does healing in one aspect bring greater health to the other aspects of the self. In other words, one area affects the other areas – for better health and well-being, or for poorer.

We can work with you to guide you to the modality that is best suited to your needs and concerns at the present time. Some of our modalities are very conducive to being done at a distance. Since we are working at the level of consciousness where everything is connected, sessions are equally potent at a distance or in person. A distance healing may be more convenient and relaxing for some people. You may read further about the healing modalities offered and/or give us a call to discuss your needs and potential solutions.

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting their bad advice-
though the whole house began to tremble
and you felt the old tug at your ankles.

"Mend my life!" each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried with its stiff fingers

though their melancholy was terrible.

It was already late enough, and a wild night,

Practitioners’ Biographies:

Gail Wickwire - BS, CIKH, CFR, CRM, CTBF

Gail Wickwire has been a holistic health-care practitioner since 1992. Gail is certificated as an Integrated Kabbalistic Healer, a Foot Reflexologist, a Reiki Master and a Transformational Breath Facilitator. She brings a wealth of training and personal experience to her work. Gail’s approach to health seeks to support all aspects of the self to attain its greatest potential through positive transformation of one’s energy system and the beneficial impact of that on the whole body/mind/spirit system. Gail is a stand for living a more joyful and love-filled life.

She provides Integrated Kabbalistic Healing, Foot Reflexology, Breathwork, and Reiki services.

Michael Reece - ND

Michael Reece received his ND degree in 1983 from The John Bastyr College of Naturopathic Medicine (now known as Bastyr University). Bastyr University is an accredited four-year graduate-level residential naturopathic medical program located near Seattle in Kenmore, Washington. He received his BS degree in Zoology in 1975 from The University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Michael Reece, ND is President of the PA Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PANP), and a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). The PANP is a state affiliate of the AANP.

He provides Homeopathic Care and Naturopathic Care.
